  2. Hi Dave,

A other great update on the pond and fish and the projects you have been doing a nice little informative video mate. Also I was just wondering if you have any spare mugs and your log books as I am disabled now and I am not able to do to much around the pond these days I still do all my water checks so I have started to collect mugs from the channels that I watch on YouTube and I have been flowing you for a long time now so I would appreciate it if you have any spare mugs and log books I would appreciate it if you could please let me have one of each I would appreciate it mate.

    Many thanks

    Steve

  3. Nice one Dave. I've not seen the use of carbon mentioned on any of the other channels I watch.. Is this something many don't do or have I just missed it somehow. Got you the result though so that's great. How often do you need to rep!ace it ?

  4. Horrible, messy, back breaking job. And then you have to bag the old stuff too. I never bought a large one but two medium ones connected to each other.
One tip, if you can, when you fill in the new carbon, you can always put it in place and then connect a hose pipe for the outlet to run where ever you need to. So much lighter to lift when the carbon is dry.

  5. Happy days mate easy way to empty them big blues I just pop on it a bit of a angle and run the hose pipe up it and all the carbon runs out with the water no lifting it up or shaking it out like but someone told me that after I done it the hard way the first time lol 😂
Keep up the great work mate pond and set up is looking the hammer mate I still have that towel your wife made for me as well
