Depending on the company and field of expertise, experience in the Philippines may be recognized. Me and my friends work in software development, and we all got offers before we got here in Canada.
20:09 tama po dipende sa province. dito po sa Vancouver top notch ang mga gamit namin na software and peripherals lalo na sa government or crown corp.
Way back 2006 in the Philippines sobrang big deal ang certifications, may mga na-iinterview kami na mga fresh grad at walang experience pero sobrang daming certifications. Don't get me wrong ok po ang certifications pag tlgang inaral mo ung topic nung certifications pero kasi madali lng din gawan ng paraaan sa dami ng resources at dumps ngayon for any I.T. certifications.
And base on my experience sa Pinas mga 2015 onwards and kahit dito sa Canada ngayon they are more into experience kasi nga ang dami naring way para ipasa mo ang certifications kahit hindi mo tlga inaral ung topic.
I.T cert is good to have but sa interview at work itself lalabas tlga at mag ma-matter ung experience.

Guessing Mike is an IT tech support person, not a real application developer, so his job experience is pretty basic here, not the other way around as he describes himself and his 'experience'. It is usual that maraming IT jobs d2 sa Canada perform a panel interview. He is fortunate nakarating sya pre-pandemic. Also the bank lending rates were very low at the time…
For the reference/testimonial letter kapag yung previous employer/company is no longer existing mas maigi na ipa-notirize, that makes it a credible doc that you can use and that is usually accepted. I had the same situation before po.
My daughter is IT with masteral in Bentley university and works in Lockheed Martin here in US she does a lot of exams and training always snd now doing Phd in AI or artificial intelligence
Eh IT naman pala natural may mga jobs na available. Magandang career o skills yan. Eh kung pupunta punta ka ng Canada wala ka namang skills o edukasyun o hinde ka nag aad o nagaaral nh ibang skills para ma bago trabaho mo aba ikaw na may kasalanan. Wag kang pamunta ng Canada🤣
Yes agree, wala din talagang staying power ang mga working visa, if expired na, at nagtaas ang mga requirements ng Government (currently happening), kahit gusto irenew ng company, if di kayang abutin ang requirement, uuwi na.
Baka pwede po ako dyan sa work nyo Apple Certified Macintosh Tech po with Tech ID 🙂
Sa Singapore para maging pr ka ay nakabase din sa sweldo. Mostly un ung P1 ang visa.
