  1. Hello, I'm from Romania and I recently discovered your YouTube channel, I watched all your videos with great pleasure, I laughed more than at any "comedy movie". You are great, even if you were born in Russia and your beautiful wife in Ukraine, if you understand what I want to point with this, by the way from those who are so stingy with likes considering the quality of the content and production of the videos. And as you like to say, DON'T GIVE UP, NO MATTER WHAT SOME SAY". And the little girl is sweet, beautiful, charismatic, talented. I'm looking forward to seeing how you will transform the big house, if you have done so a jewel from the house for the guest. I wish you good luck and strength of work. 🥰👍👍👍👍🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

  2. I can see once you get the wall structures level and plumb, the inside work can begin. And seeing the inside and how big it is, I hope you leave some of it open to the ceiling to give the realism of the older days when it was initially built. Of course the second floor can hold a very nice bedroom or whatever you wish. Thumbs up for your continued efforts to preserve this log cabin.

  3. That is a slick trick to cure the footer in those temps that y’all are seeing. Nice work! For the dust, get some mullein tea and drink through out the week. It gets the dust and things out of the lungs. I drank it when I was working in my wood shop frequently, and no matter how hard I tried to use PPE or get rid of dust, it always gets you with wood. Really cool to see a fire in that fireplace this time too. 👍🏻

  4. Good job taking down the staircase. I enjoyed the fireplace too and have to tell you I was jealous when you said the temperature was in the 20's. I live in Northern NH, 9 miles from Quebec. It is 4:45 am and the temperature is 5 degrees F.

  5. Or I mean you could also have the other part of the second floor as a large/extra room for storage or an office room or something, But I also like the idea overall. Hope all goes well and the concrete won’t get damaged.

  6. I hope you guys don’t remove its authenticity from its historical roots that would be a damn shame I’m already falling in despair over the removal of the stair case

  7. Can almost feel a relaxing calm of what it would have been like back in the day sitting in front of that fireplace one late evening oil lamps going cup of coffee in hand kids laughing the history that cabin has she's coming along can't wait to see the end product

  8. Love seeing the progress step by step. Getting that last wall leveled and the bow worked out will be a great accomplishment. As a hobby home remodeler, I enjoy seeing your hard work and smart approach to fixing it. Keep up the good work Russ.

  9. As soon as those walls are lined up, the hard work of the interior begins! It was good to see the fireplace at work! It’s a real sign of this progressing. Are you seeking out advice and architectural sources to decide how you will lay out the interior? You will have a blank page to work in, which makes this part even more fascinating. In the meantime, keep warm! Use a mask so that you won’t breathe in that dust! ❤🎉
