  1. I look forward to each and every one of your videos.
My brother and i are fixing tools instead of buying new ones. We owe it all to you and your wonderful/helpful content!! Thank you very much Dean Doherty!!!!

  2. A master at work. Sorry but at 8:10 when you tried wacking the allen key twice without holding it down i was dead 😂😂 watched countless hours of your videos i think thats the 1st thing ive ever see you do that made me go hmm.

  3. I have a gbh 5/40 from '91, older version of this machine, of course no service kit but the pins from the pipe was still available, orings still, main oil seal and circ clip, the seal oring unfortunately was not available. The only thing that i've found damaged was piston that i needed to buy a replacement from a company in Germany.
Fun time to remove the bearing from the housing at 1am in the kitchen using the heat from cooking machine 😅
I would be happy to have a parts washer but i've succeeded with gas and good scrub! And i've started that repair because of you! Thanks man!

  4. I don't usually comment on many things in the world but it is an dying art in this industry as normally we will throw these things in the skip because they don't work no more I was electrician in the old days at any tool that didn't work ended up in the skip but these days are not many repairs it is a throwaway Britain

  5. I would of thought that getting Orings and oil lip seals would of been the easy ,unless they are using purpose built seals. As i would suspect that they would use off the shelf generic components which would be available from and bearing and seal supplier.

  6. The thing with these great old bosch hammers is that they are reliable and parts are available, but if you are using these day in day out the Vibration off them compared to what is available on the market today from Bosch and Makita is night and day.

As soon as you do half an hours work with these beasts your fingers and palms know all about it. Thats the 5kg machines as well as the 7.5 and 10kg machines.

    Thumbs up.
