  1. I am getting a pop up from Youtube that this video is taking longer then expected to process. It is a 4K video so if the resolution is low just watch it and enjoy or wait for it to process fully 😂 THANK YOU FOR EVEN CONSIDERING WATCHING MY VIDEO 🎉

  2. Je pense qu'il faut être un peut patient,et attendre des nouvelles sorties l'année prochaine, cest pas possible d'avoir une console portable et joué 1heure ,ou alors joué en mode 15watt en 720p

  3. They say legion go runs on cloud gaming, I live in a country that mobile data is slow to none, is this still worth to buy than ROG? I’m planning to buy a handheld before the end of this year.

  4. I appreciate your commentary.

I’ve been contemplating returning the Legion Go for the ROG Ally, specifically because some games, much like tomb raider, open in a weird format.

I’m not sure this could be fixed with software updates; just sad we were promised a landscape display and got a portrait display.

Then I remember the SD card reader issue, the screen, etc, and I want to keep the Legion Go.

    This is tough…

  5. Yo, I really appreciate you taking the time out to create this comparison, although not perfect it gives me an idea where there’s not a lot of options in and video comparisons at least that I found at the time, so thank you for making this

  6. What was the power draw on the devices? It appears as though you have the Ally innperformance mode on battery but what was the power draw on the Go? What was their performance when they were plugged in and maxed out processing?

Without knowing whether the devices were receiving similar juice, the bios were fully updated, drivers installed, etc. the test is kind of just a side by side more than a real comparison.

Now maybe you had all of these settings the same, but it still needs to be mentioned.

  7. That really is a beautiful size screen on the Go, and I love the 16:10 aspect ratio, I didn't expect the Go to be up to 50% higher FPS, but that's awsome to see, it should have enough juice to run pretty much any game @ 120hz & FPS, and those which need it, you can use exactly 2x 800p for a nice line doubled 1600p, I would much rather have smooth 120hz via 2x 800p than 60hz 1600p, and on a screen under 10" it's very hard to tell the difference, if at all. With 120hz, BFI also becomes an option, which RetroArch already has a really well optimized BFI algorithm built in, 120hz allows for nice smooth 60hz/FPS games with much nicer motion clarity, and you only need to run games @ 60 FPS with 120hz BFI, with BFI and line-double mode you can really squeeze a whole lot more performance out of the APU, I would really like Lenovo to release a firmware level BFI update and incorporate it into their overlay software, as well as a simple line-double option.

One thing is for sure, the Lenovo Go, thanks to the 16:10 screen being so 4:3 friendly and having 120hz making 60hz BFI available, is hands down the best emulation handheld we have ever had to date, that screen will look amazing with BFI and scanlines, making the most authentic retro experience on a handheld we have ever had available before now, the 1600p RGB-IPS display is really nice for using CRT shaders, I can't wait to set up Batorcera on a Legion Go with a nice Sony Trinitron shader and 60hz BFI, everything from 8/16-Bit systems, up to the OG Xbox will look amazing, the only improvement would be a 240hz Super AMOLED (RGB-Stripe), the higher the PPI the better, thanks to line multiplication higher resolution/PPI displays are really beneficial for IQ, though a 120hz 1600p Super AMOLED would be enough, even better than 16:10 would be 3:2, I'd love to see a 3:2 Super AMOLED handheld one day.

  8. Question I updated to the new sound drivers but man those speakers compared to the ally or Steamdeck or even Switch are horrible. Will new amd drivers help with this also?

  9. I seen a video by the Phawx, where they had a graph showing the best settings for the apu and it showed that setting thermal to performance and the os power mode set to efficiency. According to their graph, at tdp above 20, instead of leveling out and flat lining, in efficiency os power mode the performance still gaining at good. I don't have one yet to test this though

  10. What is the TDP on “Performance mode” on the go? I thought that is the highest mode on that handheld. On the Ally performance mode is 15W I believe that 15w TDP is “balanced” mode on the go.

  11. I still think the benchmarks are valid. Because everyone wants to run their games on full screen. If its 800p for the go. 900p for the ally. So be it. I dont want black bars. I want benchmarks where games are run best on the given device.
