Massey Ferguson GC2310 Loader Disassembly Tips

Compact tractor loaders come off in a logical order: relieve hydraulic pressure, support the frame, then drive pins. Rushing the GC2310 loader is how bushings and paint—and wrists—get ruined.

Massey Ferguson GC2310 Loader Disassembly Tips

Prep

  • Park on level ground, loader on stands or ground as the manual specifies.
  • Relieve implented pressure; cycle valves after engine off per manual.
  • Tag hoses before cracking fittings; cap open ports.

Pin & bushing work

Penetrating oil ahead of time beats a 5 kg hammer. Support the boom so pins are unloaded. Photograph orientation of washers and retainers.

Safety notes

Never crawl under a raised loader supported only by hydraulics. Mechanical stands rated for the weight are mandatory.

FAQ

Need a shop press?

For frozen bushings, yes—improvised hammering cracks castings.

Hyd fluid type?
