  1. Thank you for watching! I wanted to give a quick update since the recording of this video! I was able to fix about 90% of the resolution/performance issues noticed in this video with the help of a reddit post showing how to manually update the AMD drivers to an older update. This has resolved MANY performance-related issues for most Legion GO users.

Even though my issues have been resolved for the time being, I am still shocked that Lenovo released a product like this into the wild with drivers this terrible and expect their consumer to do all the work to fix them. Hopefully in due time these kinks will be ironed out on their own so even brand new customers of the Legion GO can have a good experience right out of the box!

  2. For trackpad, go to windows settings, bluetooth and devices, mouse, mouse pointer speed, should help (I don't have a Go, yet, but on Windows that's usually how you can control mouse speed outside of the manufacture options). For the external controller have you tried DS4Windows? Usually Xbox controllers work better out of the box than PS5 and for some games I have to use DS4Windows to make it work (yes, despite the names it also works with the PS5 controllers).

  3. I really like the versatility of this device. It's a home/handheld console, tablet, laptop/portable workstation.

I know it doesn't have specific pen supported hardware like ntrig or wacom, but im wondering if any of those universal stylus pens work or work well on this screen. It would be great to use this to jot down notes in class or as a sketchpad on my freetime.

  4. Its the portrait mode screen thatโ€™s causing all of those resolution issues sadly. Ally doesnโ€™t have any of those issues with most games because itโ€™s native a landscape screen.
With the controller issues, thatโ€™s caused by windows 11, legion space and drivers, try using rewasd to fix it.

  5. So I have noticed quite a few games automatically set a game to "windowed full screen" your issue where the game is smaller than your screen lies with the issue that the legion software is set to 1080p and the game resolution is set to 720p….. 720p is a smaller resolution….. In the GAME SETTINGS menu…. Change the game resolution to 19??x1080…. And set the screen to FULL SCREEN, NOT windowed full screen….. I hope this helps…. Let me know

  6. You can increase the mouse speed, go to windows, in the start menu search control panel, look for mouse options and increase the mouse pointer speed…

  7. Im still waiting for mine but some of the issues can be fixed quite easily , for the games not starting in the right resolution or covering just 3/4 of the screen, enable the virtual keyboard in windows and hit Alt+enter it should maximize it and for using a controller just get the joytokey/DS4W program , works amazing for using ps5/xb1 controllers via bluetooth and remapping whatever you want).

    Just a two cents!
You're definitely getting a sub from me!

  8. My understanding as you why these games keep crashing or won't fill the whole screen is because of the screen itself. The screen, if you noticed, when you 1st turned it on, was in portrait. This is a portrait screen and not a landscape screen. I think downloading direct x will help with this issue.

  9. I wish the dead zones were better on the joysticks (future update?)

I wish the d-pad wasn't so shallow and had more travel

I wish the start/select buttons were in the normal position

I wish the trackpad was clickable (you have to lift and re-tap to confirm inputs)

I wish the screen was horizontal for better compatibility (they have the means)

I wish there was VRR to save on battery life (important for a handheld, even one this big)

    I wish the software wasn't so half-baked (it's not a cheap device)

That's too many wishes for me. Lenovo should have done better
