  1. Why would they put a useless HDMI 1.4b spec port in there in 2023? I could see HDMI 2.1 but I would rather just had nothing or a USB A port on that side of the laptop. HDMI 1.4b is so outdated it’s disgusting, especially compared to two Thunderbolt 4 ports right next to it that are infinitely more capable.

  2. I’ve ordered a certified refurbished unit from eBay, with i7-1360P cpu, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, QHD+ display, for $629.99 before tax. eBay included 2 year warranty from Allstate too! Brand new from Lenovo cost more than twice as much. 😁

  3. I have this laptop. Just some thoughts after not using it much for 10 months or so of ownership then using it daily for the past 4 months. The screen needed to be replaced during the 11th month of ownership. It's an absolutely beautiful display, but the panel got lines of dead and corrupt pixels on it. The warranty process took what felt like forever, a bit over a month and a half without the relatively new and barely used laptop. Also, I absolutely cannot use it on my lap, it is bakey hot. Painfully hot even. And it's also very heavy. The case construction is gorgeous and feels premium, but I don't know if I'd buy another one. I got our 16" with an i5-1240P cpu, 8 gigs of ram, a beautiful WQXGA touchscreen, 256gb ssd, for $600. Not a bad deal. It's got a backlit keyboard and 4 speakers that sound pretty great. Battery life is underwhelming. As a desktoppy laptop, it's great, which is what we mainly use it for.

  4. I’m considering this, I want the 16 gb one for school and all but I also want to go cheaper and go with the 8gb but I can’t find anyone that can genuinely tell me the difference

  5. between this and the zenbook 14X oled, what's the better one to buy?
I'm ok with adding a few hundred dollars but I'm having a hard time deciding what to buy between this two. What I'm focusing is the battery life because as a student, were being given really hard assignments including editing and etc that takes a long time to do ( which i always do at school so i can't have it plug in). I think both of their performance are already great but I wanna know a professional's opinion. thanks 🙂

  6. Thanks for the review, I am deciding between 2 models, so I would like to ask you a couple of questions, between the Samsung Galaxy book3 ultra 360 and the Yoga 7i Gen 8, which one would you prefer?

Does the lenovo pen 2 charge somewhere and stick magnetically like the one on the Galaxy?

Another thing, I understand that you cannot add a second m2 to this model that only has an egg for one, correct?

  7. Just picked this up at Best Buy for my grandma, 406 after tax. It was an open box. Even had I paid full price, this laptop is amazing outside of gaming. Lenovo put a lot of thought into the design, features and functionality.
