  1. 1:05 – there's a mod that does not help/hinder your progress based on your suit armor:
it's called "DireGoo" (you might need the mod Goopers to introduce it artificially {Creepers spreading Goo} )
    … However, it is for mc1.16 buuuuttttt…..

  2. The intended way to play this adventures mods would be using the armor and weapons they provide, i guess.

It looks like Dire went to the Prometheus school of running away from things

  3. I've just recently grabbed this again and started another Aether world. Given that the last time I played was with 1.12, and the original was either with 1.2.5 or even beta 1.7.3, it's been quite some time since I played.

  4. Hi, it might be just me but I like testing new things, exploration, technical videos, but handicapping yourself to explore a new mod seems strange to me. People usually like seeing progress, improvement, finding new useful/better options in different mods. If the mod does not offer more useful gadgets you could e.g. capture different mob types from a mod or collect all ore types from a mod or visit all dungeon types to showcase the mod without needing to downgrade what you already have (just an opinion 🙂 )

  5. Instead of pulling each and every book out of the Alexandria library if you just keep clicking all the enchants you want they will all stack on one book instead of doing it separate that way you're not spending a ton of experience and it saves time LOL

  6. Hey dire, with your slider fight you guessed correctly, the aether is designed to counteract overworld resources. Wooden tools are suposed to be more effective than diamond, and all the aether tools are more effective than overworld tools for fights and mining

  7. "I'm not telling you where we are going yet. IT'S A SURPRISE" then names the episode after the name of the place where he is going. LOL Never change, Dire!

  8. Dire, you absolutely need to chunkload your entire AE2 network
AE2 really doesn’t like getting partially unloaded
AE2 has a block that can chunkload a network, but I don’t think it works over quantum tunnels
