  1. I will share a little of my lack of paying attention and detail here. I was swapping out a 6L6 tube and didn't notice the guide pin broke off inside, and proceeded to put the new tube in. It pushed the broken guide pin up, hit a screen resistor that broke and ruined it, and caused me a lot of problems that were so avoidable.

  2. I had a LP deluxe, sparkle top with the mini buckers and they really were magically microphonic, no harsh squeals just a gorgeous singing feedback and harmonic overtones galore, it was truly special and something I'm trying to recreate. A good PAF should have a bit of magic microphonics, I’ve found I can actually EQ the microphonic overtones with material selection, the harder the plastics used in the bobbins and spacers sound harsher and the high end can run away with feedback

  3. To the guy asking about the Marshall studio vintage, Otto Von Fledermaus, I had my eye on the studio JTM and vintage amps but I ended buy a boutique amp from Alex at Sirius Amplification. I played a fraction of the price and got a very similar 20w Marshall inspired amp that can do all the tones of the SV20 but has some very usable mods that I can use to really dial in the tone with clipping options, bright cap options, boost, a footswitch with 2 identical channels that I can set slightly differently. It really does cover everything from a JTM to a modded JCM 800. The guy is an up and co ing amp genius and he deserves youre business more than the faceless CEO of Marshall.

  4. I’d would love for you to do an overhaul on my 59 Bassman, a little snap cracked and pops at times. Are you able to do this or are you too booked up. Money is never the issue, I love the sound, it’s just not quiet enough.
    Thanks Scott

  5. I've been waiting to ask, but keep missing the live chat. Voxac15c1 vs Princeton reverb 65' reissue in terms of quality of build and components? I've been watching your videos on both of these amps and it seems like the vox might actually be a better quality. Seems like the fender could be good but needs a few mods.
