If you start eating real food instead of fats and sugars you may be able to repair one of these boards. What a total waste of time.
ON LAPTOPS THE HDMI WILL OUTPUT PICTURE ONLY WHEN THE WINDOWS LOADS YOU CANT SEE THE BIOS POST FROM THE HDMI I THINK SO ? CORRECT ME PLEASE IF AM WRONG THANK YOU
Maybe the working boards have another problem like broken USB port etc. You only check if board comes on what about connectors??? 🤔
Nice change with the livestreams 🎉 if you did it correctly you could milk it by uploading each repair in a seperate video since alot of people refuse to watch streams. It could bring a few more viewers to your livestreams if you link to the full stream in the video using the pinned comment function

Consider that working boards may have some other fault that requires connecting to laptop to check. Maybe battery not charging, but since customer did not send other pieces it's really a waste of time to take those jobs. Better to put $1 into slot machine and pull handle you'll have more luck lol
2:00:00 it wasn't working because the thickness of the wire holds the chip up off the board. I made a suggestion about this in previous vid…. maybe now you'll do it… flatten wire with hammer or use some copper tape to re-create pads. Wire is too thick for pad re-creation on chips with pads on the bottom of IC.
You waste SO much time trying to test bare boards without hdmi output. Tell customer to send all pieces required to get board to boot and show video output, otherwise don't take the job.
Keep doing videos. You are legend 🙌 . I slso do repairs like you in your videos. Iam professional like you and I also still learn new things every day
We need (as repairers) a universal lcd, keyboard and battery kit. Just for testing. Very difficult to test with just a board. Even Sorin…
That customer can give you a thousand motherboards and you wont make any money to tell them they work. C'mon Sorin!

I'll drop you an email, you can send me a BIOS file/s and I'll use my software to fix it. All I need is a brand of the laptop. Even for the gaming laptop we can take KBC and GPU BIOSes.

Diagnosing board init with a finder on the cpu. That's ill skillz. If only anyone invented a card to check post codes, or maybe an initialization tester, or maybe at least a tool to check the bios readout on init…

Hi Sorin, at 1:57:18 the gap between the solder pad and the IC is clearly visible, at pin 8 and 10. That's what I wanted to tell you. Maybe there is also a gap on the other side of that IC and that is why the triggering does not work. Maybe.
But it was fun not to work alone today 🙂
