  1. I listen to these podcasts while working or doing something else and today it was so weird to listen to my name being called out multiple times. Felt like abbas was asking me those questions . Guess i need some real friends in life 🤔

  2. Ye whispering vala to maine b notice kia tha , when I watched in 2013 (on TV : not pirated😅)
I think it was used as a tool to show the shyness or build up tension between the leads , but it was a bit overdone

  3. The songs are a great way in to the movie and going by song to discuss themes would have been a great reflection. Sanwaar Loon tells you how Ranveer’s entry into Pakhi’s life is quietly life-changing. Manmarziyan speaks of that young ingenue with that slightly spoilt lovable whimsical desires with an unquenchable spirit. Monta Re talks about the heart and mind which loves against all odds. The unspoken promise of the new morning in Ankahee, Zinda conveys the angry despondence of a promise denied. Shikayatein is beautiful in all the ways it talks about remorse and redemption. This movie deserved so much more reflection and discussion and i wish you could have delved into themes more given that the movie is like poetry. Raja Sen wrote a fantastic review of this movie ending with the image of the 2 noses touching in embrace

  4. Hey, recommendation for a film which has aged well – Oh My Darling India!

Please consider this for an episode. It is extremely dense, funny, vibe rich "story of a night" kinda film. Also very similar with Andaz Apna Apna in sense of its absurdity. You will be surprised guys!

  5. This is moving from a discussions on how Bollywood can get super sexist, misogynistic and uncomfortable to let's just take a movie and talk about it. Not saying it's bad, just goes against what it started off as.

  6. I remember watching the movie and it was just so beautiful. The production design, the costumes, the songs, Sonakshi in her Softgirl Era, Ranveer in his Softboi Era, Vikrant Massey. Such fun 👏🏽
