In Super Mario Maker 4 in Scratch (thanks to BenjaminWins11) I made Ludwig shoot bob ombs out and he has a thing that sheilds him and you need to shoot Bob ombs at him. This makes him more fun and a great challenge

Yeah, multiple bosses were exactly the same. Of course, I am HIGHLY exaggerating that, but it can kinda doesn't feel like it either.
That is one thing I liked about the NSMB series: they varied the koopling fights enough to not feel exactly the same.
Super Mario 3 is such a fire game. Just compare that to Mario 1. Huge difference. They did a crazy good job.
I remember Roy Koopa was similar in that he also shook the room if I remember correctly. He was my favorite Koopa kid.

Ludwig and Roy are pretty much the same boss, but Ludwig a faster. Kinda like how Iggy and Larry are more or less the same boss but iggy jumps higher.

What’s interesting is that each of the later koopaling fights are essentially enhanced difficulty versions of the earlier ones. Ludwig is a harder version of Roy who also has the shaking ability . Roy is a harder version of Morton. Lemmy is a harder version or Wendy and Iggy is a harder version of Larry.
Hip and Hop, Kootie Pie, Bigmouth, Bully, Kooky, and Cheatsy are the "Koopa Kids" to us 80s babies! I don't know bout Roy, Ludwig and all that other sh*t! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Always liked these boss fights more than super Mario world, those bosses were more like puzzles then battles
