I have 3 requests: 1) a firmware update with animal eye detect for the S5ii; 2) a 40mm pancake for the S5ii; 3) a sub 300g M43 camera with decent video capabilities.
@LUMIX_USA Thanks for make such a good app this way I can enjoy my S5II despite my disability.
The only thing I miss is a way to delete.
Can we get CRAW and/or HEIC in the S5II? I'd love to have smaller image files.
Also a tip to get free film simulation LUTs for anyone with photoshop: adobe PS can do an adjustment layer "look up table" and theres a bunch of LUTs that Photoshop ships with including some Fuji eterna and kodak LUTs and some special effect type luts. You can navigate to your folder where these LUTs are stored and copy/paste them to your camera to have a few instant film simulation options.
@ LUMIX USA I've recently been getting into action motorcycle and car photography with my G9II. I'd be interested in what AF settings, AF zones, stabilization etc you use for both side to side panning shots at slow shutter speeds, as well as general action shots such as cornering etc. Also read some sports action photographers prefer BB focus when using CAF with burst mode as focus is uninterrupted by the shutter button actuations. Any advice much appreciated.
Lumix doesnt get enough credit for their UI and customization. I don't have exhaustive knowledge of other brands but I think they very well may be the industry leaders in terms of customization and ease of customization. I love the long press function. I got a flash for my s5ii and want to practice my portrait lighting on myself – i can just set my front button to review for quickly checking my exposure and when im done practicing, i can switch it back to my preferred function of histogram. It's so fast and easy. Same with when I'm doing something specialized

Is there a way to make sure the Red recording box always stays on the hdmi output when focusing? On the S5ii, focusing make the red frame disappear for a few seconds on external monitors
