So why, going back to dual SSD chips, are SSD speeds still not beating those on the M1 air?
Nice & Thanks 🙂
speeds from a decade ago ..
If they listened they made it replaceable.
Companies that Listen properly to their customers feedback gives them much better (street) credibility, respect & brand loyalty. Well done apple 👏 it’s a good step in the right direction .. Now they just need to ship base models with at least 512gb ..
Who cares. Just buy whatever m1/2/3 and use it. You guys are jobless
The biggest stupidity was to return 2 chips but at 128 instead of 256…
I like your videos, but it is a fact that when you are a fanboy, you try to defend anything in spite it is not good:
– Just 256 Gb for the base model in 2024 and with that price. Sorry but should start from 500 GB or 1 TB of storage.
– Ok, they have 2 SOLDERED SSDs again, but they are SOLDERED. Any laptop can have a not soldered SSD m2.
– Those speeds are from PCIe 3.0, what a shame… my laptop is from 2018 with PCIe 3.0 and speeds are even higher: 3.300 MB/S. Why not using PCIe 4.0 with 7.000 MB/s?? or 5.0 with 14.000 MB/s. I mean, Apple has been revolutionary in some things in the past, but this is awful.
Anyways, I´m glad you are happy for having speeds from 2018 or even less 😂
Yeeeeeaaah… they fixed it alright. And thermal throttling is worst in years with over 100C. A joke.
what about 15" model? does it also have two NAND chips in case of 256 GB SSD
Verdin surprised 😂 makes sense 😊😊😊 thank you guys 🎉❤
They could have used the new technology of the fanless blowers..
and make the screen mechanism 360* for the tablet mode..
and apple pencil support…
and multi OS option (iPadOS+MacOS)
and 512/16GB for the base config.
Those features would have justified the price
Why two 128GB chips? Because one 256GB chip makes MacBook useless with 8GB RAM. Apple still doesn't want to provide 16GB RAM as a base model.
Would be interested to see if they did the same dual set up on all capacities.
I bet MacBook Air m1 would have been much faster than m3 transfering that file
Damn here I thought you were going to say "Mac finally has upgrade-able storage!" Now I am sad once again.
I hope they do this too with the base model M3 Mac mini
Thanks for saving me 500€ with this video
Apple – "to create issue, to solf them later". So tragical company. Stil again and again. LOL
I hope Apple can finically recover from the 5$ extra on that second Nand chip.
I just got my 15" M3 MacBook Air 2 days ago, and it really is very fast, especially when compared to my M1.
Given that the M3 still only has 8GB for the base model, i'll happily stick with my M1 …
MaxTech still not recommandable in basic configuration, although the concept is basically a good one. Only implementation is bad, myself wait for next generation..
It basically matches the M1 Air performance. Shame on you Apple
Please do an M3 Air (4E/4P) 512GB/16GB vs an M3 Pro 14 (6E/5P) 512GB/18GB comparison!
Ayo Max where's yo March Event for which you invited me from Andromeda?
Did they still glue the battery in so they can't be safely replaced?
Shouldn't using two nand chips double the speeds instead of increasing it by just 33%?
😂😂😂i can install 2TB M.2 in that price, lol mac users😂
thank you for doing this…looks like im getting a new mac that i can afford.
Yay! Just need to up the RAM now! 😉
Finally! I can go ahead to the 16/256 M3 Air! I think this is the perfect configuration!
🎉 well done guys
