  1. Great work. I love your detective skills on these harder jobs. It never ceases to amaze me how many people just tell lies. The customer must have known about the water damage. As you showed from the screws, someone had been messing inside. Either the customer did all that, maybe trying to fix the liquid damage, or else it went to someone else who went into it. Either way, why do so many people lie and just say "Oh, it just broke and I didn't do anything." ?!

  2. Hello Sorin, thank you for continuing to use FlexBV5 for your boardview software.

I noticed that you're using a different schematic/pdf viewer and am wondering if you're aware that by default FlexBV5 will launch its own schematic viewer and you can then cross-search betwen the boardview & schematic without manually typing / searching — this is actually the key feature that FlexBV was built for many years ago for Louis Rossmann.

There's an online manual available at the site under the "Support" link ( I won't link here because I think your settings automatically block URL equipped posts ).

  3. Sorin, You are correct. I have an Apple MacBook Pro with touch bar and you do need to first log in with password when starting up, then the touch bar will work after.

  4. Hi Lewis
    It was great, thank you
The caramel wafer that you showed first is made in Iran and its name is colorful!
I am from Tehran, Iran and I always learn from you
    Thank you teacher 🙏

  5. It just never ceases to amaze me, your skill is impressive.. I sometimes wish that I was younger so I can learn all of this.. I have and am trying but at 73 I am one of those individuals that has a problem with his memory and it is a real struggle to learn.. though I am not giving up, I know I will never have your type of skills.. So I watch learn a bit and have one heck of a time. Thanks Sorin for sharing your compation and love of electronics with us.. I am forever grateful
