I've been properly back into Pokémon since around October 2022, and it was only like a month or two back I finally found out Volcanion isn't a Heatran evolution or a future Paradox form.
I mean, rearrange the letter of Volcanion and you can literally spell volcano (in) but is it the volcano Pokémon?
Of course not, that would make too much sense.
Give it a mega and help it stand out for Arceus' sake.
if it's manmade maybe the form change is a more modified version of it and it could play a role in the new game like some kind of steam engine type of pokemon that's being used for its energy and it goes berserk and you have to fight it and when u win it escapes in the form we know tody hence it avoids people but in game you can catch it and use the modifier to unlock its super form, the abuse of the power is what made it go wild not so much the change itself
Volcanion was either made in the time of steam power, before Hisui, bc we have pokeballs in hisui, or was used as a way to discover steam power. Hisuian pokeballs are steampunk so ill assun Hisuian times were times of steampower, making it a fair assumption that volcanion is from around that era
I think an interesting tidbit to note is that the ORAS tv specials say “A mythical Volcanion,” not “THE mythical Volcanion.” As if it’s common knowledge that there are multiple

I prefer a fusion of Volcanion and Magearna. Magearna's Soul-Heart and pieces will be the key to perfect Volcanion and unlock its true potential.

I remember hacking in a shiny Volcanion and telling my little cousin that I got it going into the Power Plant and he was so mad he couldn't figure out how to and would beg me to do it for him and I would smuggly refuse. Told him the truth only after the Volcanion movie came out
Volcanion, along with Zeraora, are Mythical Pokémon that are kinda just there. There isn't really enough specific lore about them to grant them the Mythical status in my opinion. Zarude was in that group too but imo the Movie made up for it
Now he should do the gen 7-9 pokemon that could get mega evolutions

Pokemon you want to look at getting a mega are all the Pokemon not on the Switch currently.
You can guarantee that the plan is to put all remaining Pokemon into ZA because then all Pokemon will be accessible on the Switch.
It will be less controversial when they shut down Bank, although it will be controversial no matter what but at least this way you will have every Pokemon available on the Switch.
Its the same as when we went from GBC to GBA. FrLg was only made for that purpose

Thinking about legends arceus made me realize that there's a chance that kalos pokemon won't get many OR any forms at all. The main legendaries will probably get something but based on arceus, all the new forms/evos will be from other regions
Hoping magearna gets to shine with volcanion in Z-A
Or it is give a blue and red orb and become a primal version like groudon and kyogre
All I really care about is that Volcanion gets Hydro Steam.

Bro Volcanion is STEAM BOILER use in Industrial purposes what the ck u talking about coconut is known as hotwell tank and tube trasfer heat to water to form steam in top it all collected and discharged when needed.
Volcanion could have a form where it breaks out of that man-made body and shows it's true pure heat energy self (like NRG from Ben 10). This form, although small could be like pure fire (literally ) and have 680 BST (like hoopa unbound)

Volcanion absolutely should because Water = Life and Fire = Death, but Fire sustains Life and Water is mythologically tied to something like making death temporary (including the Turtle Princess story)
Off topic / on topic if zygarde is the gaurdan of the ecosystem would the a,b,c synthetic pokemon not be industrialization, zygarde is aura/nature so A is spirit/tech humanity's begging is stone and tree but are future lies in metal and stars

Also, Magearna appearing in legends ZA actually sounds oddly fitting, especially considering that royalty was still in place at this time in Kalos, at least, if the timeline generally fits with the real world timeline we have predicted.
If Battle Bond is returning, I can totally see Volcanion getting a Batle form if your earlier prediction about Battle Bond turns out to hold some merit.

For me Volcanion is supose to be a normal pokemon and is in charge of the erosion or terraforming the land. Thats why he is in other regions
