  1. Throwing the trash out… that was epic 😀 😛 Seriously though, when it comes to 'normal' long distance drives across Europe, usually we drive until the other is getting tired – approx 200-250km, and then stop to swap with a 20min leg stretch, snack, pee, and then a stop of approx 1hr for lunch and/or dinner at some point. I think this makes more sense rather than pushing the distance to the end of a battery.

  2. Would be nice to see the opposite test, max speed…
You should apply for a police escort 😉
Actually it should be an interesting test for the police as well as the to are going electric, so it may be approved!

  3. Hi Bjørn, big fan of your content! Do you have tips on planning charging stops on a long trip? ABRP advises other charging stops then in car navigation and chargemap and fastned. I drive an EQE 300. Cheers from Belgium!

  4. I drove 1000 km from central to south europe. Took me 11:20 due to Traffic and construction sites. Also vat was added to the limit when possible.
If we want to make a break we charge 30-35 min. Otherwise 15-20 because it is slower and boring.

  5. Yesterday I realized that I actually drive too modestly for charging. I have a Ioniq 6 and if do not navigate to a charger, but simply decide to charge when I see a HPC I get low charging rates, since the battery is as chilled as me 😀

  6. Gotta love Max burgers! Just to clarify for those who did not get the joke. *Bjørn throws trash out the window. Bjørn puts away the camera. Bjørn gets out of the car and picks up the trash and puts it in the bin where it belongs. Bjørn is a good panda.

  7. I remember a Dutch car magazine doing a test going from Frederikshavn to Amsterdam in fossil cars, I don't remember which one. Distance was 1000 km. One car drove fast, the other slow. The difference in travel time was only 20 minutes arriving in Amsterdam. And it included unlimited German autobahn. This is in stark contrast to what Björn now finds. I am confused.
