I run ryzen 6800h at 6 watts and do 90% of my tasks no problem.
Benchmarks will convey a different story.

The video quality is so great that I stopped the video on my phone and resumed it on my 4k tv to achieve full video experience.
Damn, I guess all the windows companies should submit to apple and make apple a better gaming platform since mac is overall better aside from gaming.
12:35 One of the continuous issues with macs is this. Absolutely necessary means as close to boiling as the cpu can physically handle and quieter in this case means there's less of it. Some have reported the m3 macbook pro reaching internal temperatures above 100 C and that can shorten the CPU's lifespan (the lowered temperature of the chasey just means they aren't driving the heat away from the chip itself in this case). Because of the better cooling on the legion, the legion will be perfectly fine 5 years down the line, the mac might not be
Tbh I was in this same situation but I just went with windows I use it for university I need to use many softwares which some aren’t available on the Mac also I can’t play games on a Mac sooo I just went with a Razer Blade 16 with a i9 13th gen and a 4080 and tbh it’s magnificent I don’t mind keeping it on charger everytime I’m using it

"the legion have much better screen" I don't thinks so do you looked up how many PPI (Pixel Per Inch) have both ? The MaBook have 2 times more(higher is better) na the MacBook have (Macbook 254 ppi Lenovon 128ppi it means when u play games or doing something u see the gap between the pixels (in MacBook u didn't))3456 x 2234more brightness and better colors better material (Metal) vs Hard Plastic. So I think the MacBook is better built. MacBook screen: 3456 x 2234 Plastic Lenovo screen 1920×1440. Not to mention the image quality and color rendering differences of matte plastic(Lenovo) and shiny glass(Apple).
MacBooks are not the best system for gaming.
Apple did great gains with the M3 but there are many other issues that will leave them as a niche product. The main issue is still price, especially outside the US where Apple products become prohibitively expensive and priced less competitively relative to legion laptops or similar products (TUF i9 is cheaper then Legion i9). This gets worse if you don't buy top notch devices and go for something like MacBook air Vs i7 laptops (like i7 legion or i7 ASUS TUF). The MacBook air it 50% more expensive.
Apple also has nothing to offer below the MacBook air while there are many i5 laptops with half the price if you just need a laptop without gaming or video editing. YouTubers like to measure everything by video editing while I rarely see people doing video editing, mostly office use and coding for which any i5 laptop will manage.
It is an exciting time for chips. The next couple years should release a bunch of surprises. Apple and AMD really motivated the market to innovate. As always I don't think anyone is cross shopping these laptops. Windows is best at 80-90 percent of flagship abilities for 30% the cost.
It's efficient but the price is not as efficient as their efficiency

I do hate apple for their pricing but can't deny their optimization, their battery life are much more considerably better than windows and much less heat cauz for less power draw….
It's BS comparing the worst efficient Intel CPU and GPU that's twice as fast as the Macbook GPU. Why not compare AMD CPU and something like 4060 but it'll be like 1/3 to 1/4 the price of the Macbook.
If u r non microsoft based developer, go and buy a M3 Mac, Im a pro windows user. My company forces me to use a Mac. Oh man, this is like a F1 formula car in world of laptops.
Performance is starting to get good, but still to much expensive, no user upgrades, and MacOS is just bad, too closed
A Intel 14900kf with a 4080 would be better and around the same price
The Adobe tests had the Lenovo laptop performing competitively on most tests, but still slightly behind. If someone wanted to game with a wider selection, they could do that with Lenovo and not lose much for video/photo editing.
Do it again with the snapdragon x elite
MacBook and a Desktop Pc is the best combo. The fact that you need to be plugged in to get the most out of your “portable” laptop drives me crazy.
NEED IS MOST IMPORTANT THING WHAT SOFTWARE SUPPORTS CHOOSE IN THAT WAY.
