  1. Bruce the idle thing is false. You can run the truck just idle up a few hundred rpm to keep the oil moving and that’s perfectly fine. I used to run a Scania in Western Australia and high idle is perfectly fine to keep the ac on when parked up.

  2. Hey Bruce love your videos if you watch a guy Trucker Tim he done a rebuild on a Scania to you might be able to get some tips Paddy Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪 new subscriber even though I taught I already had subscribed 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️

  3. Where the Scania logo is in the front, thats a hatch you can open by pulling it towards you and down. When the big front hatch i closed so you easier can fill coolant.

  5. Nice looking truck and interesting to see the differences between European and North American trucks. Have a safe trip to Finland Bruce, and all the best of the holiday season to you and your family.

  6. Here in Sweden lot's of the show trucks have beutiful airbrushed paintworks on the cab. I think you should comission a piece with the theme of Swedish setlers coming to the US in the 1800:s. Swedish and American flag, American eagle and all that. Considering this is just one of many Swedes making the journey to America. A bit of sweden is in the US legacy.

  7. Bruce you do look good in the scania, it's my choice of truck especially if it brand new because they out live cummins engines by double , and the engine on 620 I loved how low it can pull in rpm , and the ride inside far out , so smooth compared to all American, Australian trucks yet still built to do same work ,, how come you can't bring brand new truck into use, gotta say , to whom made that law to stop European truck sales in USA is a fuck wit ,,, reason why is European trucks are better in every way ,, then emission standards are higher than USA standards, so what the fuck is the problem bringing a new clean scania to drive on USA roads ,, I drive Western star and kenworths, but I would never buy one brand new, my boss bought brand new classic Australian design SAR legend edition , based on 1970s t9 80s Sar m9del , had high mount cabins with angle bonnet, just type in kenworth SAR Legend and have a look

  8. 8,d get rear diff and get rid of lazy lift axle , but hey you'll need both diffs or diff 8nit can be mounted behind the front diff? Oh Bruce what did you pay for that scania, I hope it's not sold to you because it's about to die , you gotta start looking at new purchases better than you have been , the motor homes etc both those scania trucks , I could see so many things up shit creek on the scania trucks x2 , and I,m looking through a video Bruce, ,,,, open everything thing up unscrew things look behind them for hidden damage , nice shiny paint hides lots from people , distracted by nice paint , nice exhaust note etc etc, you got to check shit fully thoughly, don't worry I,m say this to any body who reads it ,, check it real real good,, don't be scared to point shit out and barter on the price ,, don't be scared , people always advertise higher price to negotiate on so negotiate a price don't be whimpy, or think your a scabby prick/bitch wha teve, hope somebody tells me the got a cheaper deal by using my thoughts, and ladles take your man with you when negotiating deal , they won't if you don't ask , that plain and simple

  9. Crazy that you're going to Finland Bruce… Growing up in Finland I never thought Scania's were that cool. The grass is always greener you know. The EU truckers wanna drive Peterbilts… Anyway, after 15 years in the US I find it super cool that you're gonna visit Finland and that you're bridging the gap between US and EU trucks. You should also go visit VAK in Finland to see how Finnish/EU trailers are made. And maybe head to Sweden to Södertälje to visit the Scania factory? Anyway.. I'm sure it won't be your last time over there 🙂
