Hey man if you're looking for a leak reaction kit I would really recommend this company called Leak Tronics they have some pretty awesome tools for every type of leak I had used them for a while now and haven't had any issues
I use the front of my pants for leak detection. I'm interested in your method, though.
American leak detection has the best I've used for leak detection. Head phone with a micro phone we dropped on the ground. We used scuba tanks for back pressure in air to hear bubbles.

You can use small ultra sound or sonar to hear water leak under slabs or walls 😂

Gen ear is what we use it’s sound oriented u listen for bubbles and can drill holes and insert rod to listen beneath slab to listen.
You found it that’s what matters, if it was in the slab you can isolate if hot or cold , then you need more tools thermo cam and electro stethoscope

Never use a schedule 40 adapter like this, always schedule 80. I’ve replaced more of those than I can count

Hey, this is how we find leak’s underground without leak detection Kits. Pretty simple and you probably already know it but anyway…assuming the meter is outside (meter pit) simply turn valve off inside house, if meter is still spinning it’s obviously between the meter pit and the house. Obviously that doesn’t tell you exactly where the leak is but it does tell you for certain that the leak is underground .
