I’ve heard Vintage Chanel hardware is plated in 24k gold & that the quality of the newer ones aren’t as great due to mass production. This was so interesting to see in comparison ! Can I just say that I LOVE this video?! Your friend is delightful (she looks just like my aunt ❤) and we love a good old school tag!!! I'm definitely a vintage/preowned girl. But maybe in this new season of my life I would be open to 1 NEW new bag a year! Mainly because I want a Coco Handle lol. But you cannot beat vintage quality (or styles IMO). You all made a great point about smooth leather being easier to care for/maintain…never thought about it that way! I think I only have 1 Caviar bag. But now I will be looking for more lambskin for sure! Great, great video!! We would loveee more of these 🤗💕
