Very interesting.
I really believe the latest leaks as they really seem true. Less surprise once the reveal is out. At this point its everything but confirmed. The leaks are enough at hyping people up. The direct will be here before you know it. Hoping for a teaser of the new switch and various ports. The 2024 train is packed!
considering i only just bought a switch oled last year when the ToTK oled model released, im happy to wait a year or so for the next switch, i probably wont have the money to buy one this year anyway lmao 🤣
also, personally i think scarlet and violet had the potential to be the best pokemon games, if they get the next pokemon games right they could be the best ones
Of course the first iteration will be lcd. An OLED screen is something that they’ll announce when they do a refresh a few years after they release switch 2. Just like the original switch.
I saw that there going to make the switch 2 with a cheap led screen so they can save money so they don’t have to make the switch 2 4K
LCD is all about VRR.
Legends of Arceus was by far better than scarlet/violet in my opinion. I really dislike the look of Scarlet/Violet

gamefreak is doing a collab with take two they’ll take what they learned from that and apply it to Pokemon
Strongly disagree that it’s acceptable for them to put out just the LCD version even if they put an OLED out later. That’s just getting people to buy the console multiple times. They’ve done it, they know how to do it, and anything less at launch would be another greedy move by Nintendo that shouldn’t be overlooked.
I wish Palworlds will be ported to the Switch
The original NS displays visuals just fine. Plus, this will also be able to be used on TV, which is where it’ll be played a great percentage of the of the time.
Is OLED better than LCD? Yes, but hey…what will be more apparent is the graphical capabilities and I’m all for it!

I dont reslly care about what screen they use. I only play docked anyway. But for those who play handheld i can see why theyd want the oled

One can hope the fact that Palworld is blowing up right now might light a fire under their arses, and make em put some effort into their games as its clear t hat is possible for others to make massively succesful pokemon-like games.

I looked at my Pokemon games on switch and I haven’t admit I have enjoyed all of them. I think the criticisms of pokemon are somewhat valid, but they are way too negative and intense for the truth of the matter. They are still fun and addictive games and people were hyped for all of them on some level.

Face it….Pokémon games aren't gonna be better until they allow someone besides gamefreak make it. And regardless…ppl are gonna spend months and months shittin on it…yet….it will out sell the game prior. Those are the facts. Ppl need to stop and just accept it.
Splatoon Devs have said many times there will be no more games in the series. Why not believe them? It’s a niche fan base

I just got my switch for Christmas, and must say I love my Pokemon violet .
Samsung to wonders with LCD now so I’m not worried.

My first reaction is that OLED is a must-have for me and I'll wait until they make an OLED option available, but I know the second Monolith Soft's next game is announced, it won't matter what kind of screen the next console has 😭

Hopefully it will be an IPS screen, but OLED should be the default by now. Regardless of the negativity around LCD, it's Nintendo, people will buy it regardless. Vote with your wallets.

the new console is the Nintendo Switch DUO, a Evolution to the Original switch, NSO Gets rebranded to Nintendo Systems Online so it can still be refered to nso.
I'd like the next system to be around the Steam Deck oled's specs. Great system that still focuses on value rather than pointless spec bragging like all other portable PC consoles.

Only noobs pay attention to analysts. It doesn't matter what reputation they have, they are just analysts, it's educated guessing at best, there is no reason to pay attention to them, it's a waste of time.
Furukawa said SV exceeded their expectations in the first months. However, the games did slow down a lot in 2023, but it was the same with SWSH.
Nintendo Switch 2 is the real hype.
I’m ready for Nintendo to announce it so we can know what to truly be hyped for. I hope that they don’t fumble it. I don’t hate the idea of a more powerful Switch OLED close in power to the Steam Deck OLED. Especially since the Steam Deck OLED isn’t super beefy but it’s powerful enough to run a lot of modern games at low to medium settings
