Which PS5 looks better? Old or New?
As a computer engineer i'm very impressed with the toolless serviceability of this with it being 2023.
They definitely cut some corners in design. The lack of a vertical stand, no front USB-A, more price for the discless version. It's just a shrinkflation. Hope the performance and thermals are at least as good.
Ps4 is more beautiful than both of them
impressive thermals but I'm disappointed by the electric consumption. I'll pass my turn.
Has anyone made a case that makes it look like a piece of entertainment equipment rather than a piece of modern art?
Looks cheaply made, Sony will be making nice profit from these…I'd love to know their cost price 🤔
And, $30 for those clear plastic stands…. really!?
They look like what people in 2009 would expect the PS5 to look
So how it works in long distances. Does it sounds louder?
i want the slim to be all mat black
I hope they fixed the overheating thing and that fan i hope it better
It feels cheap to me. I think Sony should lower the price of the slim version compared with the full fat version. It probably won't happen though. Every company is trying to cut corners right now because of inflation.
I saw buying god of war in my dream today
This is exactly how a PS4 works… nothing out of the ordinary.
Wouldn't call it slim.. more like "on-diet"
Its great that they added a second usb-c but I'd appreciate if they had 2 hdmi ports as well for situations where you have your ps5 connected both to a monitor and a tv when 1 is occupied you can switch to the other
Just compare the PS5 Slim with the older PS2 Slim. The glossy and frosty parts looks very similar to each other. Even with the cutting line. Pretty nice hint!
Sony designers: Let's make our ugly console even uglier.
Damn this looks like one of those "Fony" game systems your mother bought for you for 30 bucks when you were 6yo
I definitely prefer the new design. It looks cleaner in my opinion, and the size is way better. But I wouldn't get myself a PS5 anyways, so yeah.
Is the slim model need connection if play with physical disc?
