This is a really good video. Thank you for doing it . I bought this same setup about two months ago after a lot of research. Unfortunately, I did not see your vid back then.
Up to now all of my content has been found on a tripod and I've been pretty happy.
I had to do a mobile shooting recently and it's all shaky so I thought okay. Now I have to get a gimball.
I was okay with that until I read you got a gimball and it didn't really help much. I'm about to cry. 😂
So what was your final outcome? You've had it for a while. Did you find a solution? Tell me yes and tell me what the solution is please

I did watch before purchasing several videos where people were walking around with it and it wasn't shaking horribly. So I'm wondering, did you ever find a gimball that works with it? Did you sell it? What was your outcome? Thank you

Can you have several Z30's working at the same time, with each of them having its own remote controller? (I need to start/stop 4x Z30 from where I sit, without having to walk to each camera every time).

I bought Z30 and so far it's ok when it comes to still photography, but the video is so shaky! When I record video with my iPhone 13, it virtually matches my GoPro 10 while walking. Not sure if I will keep the Z30, The video color is nice but the shakiness is disappointing.
What I miss coming from Nikon DSLRs is the old type USB port which I used as a remote cordless shutter release for the Hahnel Captur.
I understand the Z50 has one, so why has the Z30 just got a limited use USB-C Port?
Yes, I know about this ML-L7 and Snapbridge, but they come with Bluetooth time lag, useless for wildlife!
Is there a way to rotate the camera so it shoots vertically, or not with this tripod?
the zoom is electronic or optic?
you can push the remote in from the bottom right and the remote will pop out of the smallrig tripod.
Sell it and move on
Your mic cable is all twisted up . Uncurl it – get the connecting pin over the cable and into the socket on the camera body – and that might get it out of the way of the screen.
