Its the difficulty. Unlike every other game ever made, Soulslikes require engagement, practice, and the like. Any mentally disabled 5 year old can beat any Nintendo title, millions do every year. But until recently, no one really seemed to vibe on games with actual difficulty. Nice to see it changing.

I really don't understand this concept he has of the Souls series never evolving or innovating. It's the same basic structure sure, but Elden Ring is a far different beast than its predecessors with the ability to fit different skills in different weapons, use horse for combat, and even have a dedicated jump you can use to attack, not to mention your wonderous Physick you can mix tears in to boost you in different ways. If none of that is innovation or evolution, neither is any minute thing they add to Mario or Zelda which use the same characters too by the way. I know he's literally just a troll, but I wish he'd just shut up with his stupid takes. Also that shield he was using doesn't have 100% damage negation so that's why he was taking chip damage, but he doesn't know how to read.

Bruh seeing Patches as a boss was honestly the funniest moment in Elden Ring playing through for the first time.
Destiny 1 is way better than 2. But thats most games starting out the best story and the game play the first is always better than the second one

Game reviewers absolutely jump on hype trains and ignore problems with popular games but his examples of that were very poorly chosen.

Golden Age of PVP was Dark Souls 2. Ever since ashes of war came out, everyone just became a wizard and nobody fights fair anymore. In Elden Ring you can't even expect people to not heal.

I can't speak for anybody else but I love The evil within series the reason why it didn't do so good this is what I heard it was harder than resident evil this is what I heard I'm not saying it's true but I don't care what anybody says Bethesda made good horror games The evil within was really good I got every single achievement I played the hell out of The evil within 1 and 2 but the first one was the best

I'm actually no laughing elden ring😂😂😂😂 after I beat the DLC I thought I was going to be done but I realized I didn't do all of the side content in base game in DLC so I'm going to do all of the side quests so I started New game Plus again I'm on my fourth New game Plus LOL after I do all of the side quests I'm probably done with elden ring I played this so damn much I'm 400 hours in in elden ring
