I know a big difference. New Nintendo 3DS XL is new (and is still new to this day).
Too bad with N3DS release. Nintendo didn’t fully utilized the power upgrade of it.
I thought they gonna revamp and make the 3D more stable. And enhance the new release game or at least patch up the old games.
The 3D is good for some games I tried Luigis Mansion, Monster Hunter, 3D Mario Land. Too bad they didn’t patch it up. Still kinda unstable and felt a bit dizzy lol.
Well what can we expect. Even Gamefreak didn’t Fixed and Patched up the only 3D portion of Pokemon which is just the Battle Phase. Still fps drop lol.
But I’m still happy with 3DS since it has customizable themes unlike Switch. And the more Social Applications like Mii Plaza. Switch is so bare as is. No Nintendo Apps anymore.

Well If I Had A Chose 1, I Would Say New 3DS XL
Out of the two, the NEW 3DS XL is far more superior. The design for both systems are pretty much the same, but the c-stick and extra trigger buttons are both a true game changer. Plus, the motherboard is more powerful and the speakers are much better.
New is better with the ability to play new 3ds games and amiibo supported and zl zr virtual console and faster

I have both console, and I agree tho, I always use my 3DS XL coz it’s way too much easy too handle than the new 3DS XL
I had both and the new 3ds has significant faster loading speed
I used to own two 3DS XLs, and the hinges on both were terrible. They never broke, but they sure felt like they would compared to every other model of 3DS.
