IMHO the same reason people have Nostalgia and enjoy Mario RPG better than thousand year door is the same reason Nate doesn't like Mario RPG his Nostalgia for thousand year door
We will likely see a Switch 2 reveal at the end of this year and a early 2025 release.
Nintendo will most likely go the same way as Sony and xbox. A device with no game card a digital only device which is cheaper and a device with a game card. With most games only being released in digital format only.
My money is on a whole new Home console AND an new Handheld and none with be able to play any old Switch games for one reason, the flash card that let you play all Switch games. I just cant see Nintendo doing the same Switch unit that let you play old games and having that flash card being out there.
