the Lite is specially a good option if you already have a PC or console and just need a handheld (no phones aren't a viable option)

LCD sucks, screen is unusable in the day. At night it’s fun

After constantly disregarding the idea of buying a Lite since I already have the OLED model, I went and bought the nice Animal Crossing special edition and have not regretted it at all. The OLED model is superior in every way, except for handheld mode. I really like handhelds but never liked the OLED model in handheld mode. The Lite is so much more comfortable to hold and a great handheld. Oh and the D-pad is awesome. Especially since there are so many 2D platformers on Switch.

It has been so long since I’ve owned a gaming console (Nintendo DS to play Pokemon/Kirby, etc). I have been playing mobile games on my iPhone. I’ve been thinking of getting the Nintendo Switch Lite since it cheaper than the regular Switch. I don’t need all the bells and whistles. Just something simple to play Nintendo games. Thanks for the review. I think I’ll go with the Lite. I’m just worried about the battery life. 😅😊
No cause of joycon drift but if you buy the hall effects joy con stick and replace them, then its definitely worth it.

Definitely yes because once Nintendo abandons this model and focuses on the switch 2nd gen, the modding on this handheld will blow the steam deck out of the water!

At least these can play games native, Therese a lot of online games to play, Bluetooth is available and battery is nice. And most importantly, itself is a handheld console. Portal and other devices with same price cant compare to these.
