This game seems like a cool idea… but it also seems like something which probably would have been made sooner and potentially better if the copyrights were expired. The community made retroachievements a decade ago, but copyright prevented anyone from putting it all together into a convenient package like this. So I view this game as a small taste of what could have existed in a less corporate world.

I normally just watch these videos just to get through the day. I don’t mean to be rude but I don’t consider it really that specially when you just paying a game for views. I know that sounds bad but trying to elaborate I’m talking about comparing a play through like this with something like smg4 stuff. Idea was created. Voice acting done. Setting up the set. Yet I’m here watching this over tv only bc tv has become trash. I’m far more entertained watching just a playground then an over paid weak performance show. Also mentioned I tried starting my own style of play through but in short had to stop for many reasons.
Anyway I don’t know how many others think on this line but games like this really don’t live up to the world championship thing they did way back then. Yeah fastest wins was really the goal. But the competition was more than that. Even though it was made only of three games. It was a collect, race, and score challenge. This game really doesn’t do that. At best this knock off as ryukahr said if it doesn’t add to this game it will be a one and done game. The pvp is going against bots really. Hidden times for this week long challenge. Honestly the biggest part I see about this game is just having the collection of games once you take the few days and beat those quick challenges. Beyond that this game has very little replay ability.
Has anyone looked through the credits for it live split is in there? Live splits license reads as though Nintendo or anyone really would be allowed to use it if they just post the same license. I'm betting they altered it for their needs but it's actually live split.
