IF THEY DID THIS, THEN A VR POKEMON GAME COULD VERY WELL HAPPEN, AND I WOULD KILL FOR THAT GAME
1:46 the selling argument is strongly weakened by the fact that since the switch nintendo is "under new management" and therefore i highly doubt that those finance f*ckers at the top will recreate Satoru Iwata´s vision and meanings of handling business
We miss you Satoru 🤍
This is not the first time nintendo would try doing VR, they already did the Virtual boy which flopped really hard.
If nintendo makes a VR headset they gotta call it the virtual boy 2
I've been saying for years Nintendo needs to step into the VR market its right up their alley. If they can make some actual good original VR games and maybe port some older titles like Metroid Prime they'd destroy all other VR competition in no time. Of course their headset specs would have to be up to snuff with at least the Quest 2 but I wanna believe they'd be smart enough to do the Quest 3.
if they make a vr headset at a reasonable price it will be the first one I seriously think about think and want there has only been one system i didn't want the Virtual Boy and the Wii U was very bad marketing.
Nintendo labo exists btw
i think it was a fake because the twitter account that said this stuff got wrong on a lot of stuff in a Nintendo direct
Not again…
it can be. If they don't skimp on the tech like they have a habit of doing. or just ending the relationship with Google making another competitor for themselves as they also have a history of doing. ((PS i will never use a google VR headset. they are too dominate in the tech world and spying on everything you do on their platform.))
On one hand, nintendo joining the market would be fantastic
On the other hand, i seriously doubt they'd let us code on their platform, making games for the headset will probably require some kind of nintendo job
So essentially, either the vr market moves en masse, finally conglomerates in one spot so devs can work on good stuff, or this further divides the vr space
I really hope it's gonna have touch controls and not just be playing the games in vr, my favourite thing about VR is touch controls.
