  1. When opening the link to the refining recipes on Xainesworld, my AVG antivirus caught a potential Trojan horse virus "Script:SNH-gen [Trj]". Just a warning to others.

  2. Bro i started today and dont know what now,
I did everything and left the first Planet Now i got a Signal
I have 2 Signals now but 1 disappear everytime i look in the direction and the Other one is in the Same Planet as i was and there is nothing when i arrive now im completly lost
    Sorry for my Bad english

  3. When I started this game about 5 years ago – I had my desktop pc on all the time next to me to stop me getting killed very 30 seconds! I almost quit the game (playing in 'normal mode') as i just kept dying all the time so I saw no fun in it at all. However as soon as i had discovered a way to dig a tunnel underground I SURVIVED to this day! Getting dumped on a planet that was – 105 degrees I just drilled a hole and hid inside. In 2024 I am discovering more and more ways to do stuff that you arent MEANT to. I am refining finding 'curious deposits' and found a way to find it on almost ANY PLANET if you know how to do it! GREAT GAME but ut needs proper rain and effects (that arent just toxic rain and it kills you) rain is superb adds to the environment. I used the COBALT market crash to make my first millions but HG got wise to this and NERFED the crap out of Cobalt and indium making it next to worthless now. WAY TO GO HG make a game that everyone can play – they wreck it so no one WANTS to play it anymore.

  4. Top tips:
-dig up as much salvage data as possible, they sell for $50k apiece, so you can easily find $1M worth in like 10 minutes

-whenever you find a building or other point of interest, look for the save beacon nearby; each one gives you a navigation data. Trade them at the space station for coordinates to “emergency signals” (crashed freighters, damaged ships, infested buildings etc) theres good money in the salvage

-visit the exosuit upgrade counter at every space station and buy the inventory slot!!! It’s more expensive each time, but the cost is very reasonable

-If its available, buy an S class scanner module on the space station and install it; you will get a LOT more money for scanning plants and animals

-Buy the personal refiner upgrade from the anomaly to have a functional refiner on you at all times

-buy fuel materials like sodium, oxygen and uranium whenever you see them; they cost almost nothing and you’ll never be caught without them

-use your visor to look at ships that interest you; their class and inventory size are displayed so you don’t have to talk to the owner to find out

-if you find a ship, don’t bother repairing anything beyond the launch thrusters and pulse drive. Get it running and limp that lemon to the space station and scrap it for parts!

  5. So, I’ve watched a few of these videos and there’s so much information and systems and item farming and none of the info has sunk in.

My question is, is it possible to jump in to no man’s sky and do stuff blindly and ignore loads of stuff? I don’t care bout having best items ships etc I just want to have a bit of fun but I suspect that I won’t get far .

On the 1 hand if I don’t try this game, I’ll always wonder if it could have been another destiny or even Returnal

And on the other, I may not have a clue what to do or where to go and just give up and that will make me feel even worse then if I don’t bother trying the game.

Also don’t help that farming material building etc isn’t my thing, apparently you can either just mainly farm, mainly have combat and mainly buy and sell stuff but I dunno.

My dream would be massively stripped down game , don’t laugh, like destiny. Fly around in spaceship, get into dogfights, land on planets to do a little farming or special missions etc

And I have psvr2 and I think that sitting inside the ship in space would possibly feel awesome.

I mean even when I loaded up Moss Book on psvr2, when I was transported in the church, next to the book, it really kinda felt like I was there and I think sitting in spaceship in middle of nowhere, would feel a million times better.

  6. I'm new to the game and there are a few things that I find confusing, but the main one is the planetary charts. I traded for the 3 of them. The tutorial said go to inventory and click on the chart to plot a route. I did that but nothing happens and the chart disappears. The other two did the same thing. Is there something I am doing wrong?

  7. I can't believe that the developers were so lazy they couldn't have added a tutorial to this complex game. The first two hours I played it was like wandering a mountain trail in pitch dark. Thank you for making this video ..

  8. Hmm, ok but does it ever get to be fun? Might be just me, but everything in this game just feels so lonely and boring. And everything interesting requiers an advanced tool that i dont have yet. And i have to gather resources and craft things all the time, nut there's no fun

  9. This is my 1st run on normal hope I'm not wasting time just made a poop of base on a mountain top trying to get to a space shop so doing missions inorder so I don't miss finding one

  10. My friend, you have done the lord's work here. I am older and do not get to play much due to work and family obligations. But the escape that I get from exploration themed gaming is priceless to me. I REALLY want to be a part of this game. But the way we are thrown in head first was overwhelming. I didnt even realize I had a gun until 30 mins in.

I love this video and will save it to study more. I am going to tap out because you just blew my whole mind in half with the ship fuel breakdown haha!! I haven't even fixed my ship yet.

  11. This is my first time playing it and i was constantly dying, your tutorial helps me a lot as i only can play like an hour a day so to find out all of these would take me weeks

  12. How do solar panels and batteries work? I noticed while playing through utopia that the round base parts have snap points inside for solar panels and batteries, but do they actually generate energy if placed there? Mine didn't seem to work, maybe I didn't wire them correctly.
