The fact that it can only take 1 more box than my Leaf is both interesting and a bit disappointing.
Can’t stand SUV’s – such a inefficient cars. More estate cars please!
I guess most people won’t use it without those boards/covers so probably even less boxes/room
Counterargument: but it is still NOT a bloody SUV! Sedans are already rare AF and station wagons are the closest thing to sedans with more practicality, but also a dying breed as well 🙁 I am very excited about this car, and from practicality perspective, it is great. I am curious about the range tests and the 1000 km challenge. Keep up the good work, uncle Bjorn!
Nice, Bjorn, but you did not answer the key question: Does it have a baguette holder?
I love estates, but man that’s one ugly car!
low and slick. The question that remains to be answered: is it efficient?
What about built quality? Better than Chinese cars?😅
This shows estate cars aren't useful or good when compared to the hatchback XL (aka the so called SUV)
Kona, Niro, X1, all vehicles that are smaller but more efficient with space usage, aka a smaller car that carries the same and thus can be used in cities with success as opposed to estate/sedan.
Heck, even the Kia Soul, which is drastically shorter offers similar cargo capacity to this wagon
Would like to see more competition in this sector too. Can only think of the Peugeot 308 SW as a competitor if you eant to upgrade from MG
That's not a station wagon, it's a shooting brake! 🤣🤣
I have a Mondeo 2012 which is a sedan on the outside but a hatchback on the inside. hatchback sedan. The car is from the time when there was a lot of talk about luggage space. You then get extra noise inside the car!
My favorite body type is
Saab 9-3 Aero 2003 (sedan)
Opel astra sedan 1999
I see the advantage of black car windows.
But it's more negative than positive! when it's dark outside you can hardly see anything out of those windows, very scary.
I once borrowed a subaru forester 2006 with black sunglass windows and I liked it very little when it started to get dark outside!
I feel like they got away with a banana box or two extra because of the trunk modification. For daily use I sure would not want to do that. Someone checking the spreadsheet later might lack the context of the video.
So, teh touring version is smaller than Kia Niro EV 😉
Title on thumbnail = that’s what she said! 😂
Do you know why I like your videos?
Because you present the cars like a real user and not some car reviewer who's getting an erection because he just got a brand new car while crying about plastic being plastic and making plastic noises when he scratches it…
Keep up the good work, Bjorn!
As always….thank you for making the video!
the design is a little dated…
The engine compartment looks chaotic. In the MG5 it is much more tidy.
Looking forward to the 1000km test. Because the battery of these Stelantis cars are just a bit too small…
Waiting for range test in winter of these new 115kW/54kWh tech in Stellantis car. But FWD, no frunk, no tow, no V2L, big money for that what you got…
There is also the peugeot e208 sw. It looks good, but it has limited range. It would cool to see you test it.
For a C-segment stationwagon result is more than adequate i think.
No capoeira sensor?
Your banana’s too big. You need German bananas that also have smaller boxes (hence smaller bananas) 😊
Hot take – Station wagon is an outdated form factor.
Its still like 40 000 € so not cheap for similar money You can Get model y rwd which has more space eventhough its a crossover.
You are right, the small boxy SUVs can match that easy even with less length in case of iX1 (4,50m), easier access and better overview.
I love the smell of bananas in the morning 😃
