How exciting for you both. 2000 NM could get you out of the Med just – but you are probably going to be doing a lot of wiggly bits.๐ Interesting economic dynamics at the moment. ๐โต๏ธ๐
Interesting and envious. We didn't sail to Turkey as we decided that we may do that on our return to the Med along with Albania, Northern Italy and Croatia, however prices may dictate otherwise. Looking forward to meeting up if we can. Be interesting to see how the CopperCoat turns out. We love ours although remedial work is definitely needed again. Keep safe guys ๐ฅฐ โต

What are the prevailing winds like. Do you hope to be sailing most of the way?
When staying at Kaล we found that shore tying in the southwest corner of the marina bay works really well. Tucking into that corner with your back to the hill protects you from even a strong gail.
If you are there in May the restaurants will be open.
Turkey is so amazing.. I don't think we will sail back that way unless we keep going west, but I would love to go back! We could spend about 10 years just bouncing back and forth from Greece and Turkey! lol

These marinas assume that if you have a boat you must have lots of money. "Jack up the fees!" I hope it backfires on them.
