We have figured out why the new PoE switch doesn’t work with TP-link EAP 225 access points. TP-link moves half of the cable to handle the passive 24V PoE which breaks the IEEE802.3af/at PoE standard. We are also wondering whether it has the same issue with other outdoor access points or not….
