  1. 1:05:00 Question: so 2440x1440p is "ultra wide" but 5120x1440p is wider.
So is 5120x2880p wider than 3440x1440p? Or are "ultra wide" screens just cut down normal screens?
If I get my 14 year old LG 42in 1080p tv and chop it in half horizontally… Oh look I just made a £700 38inch ultrawide? think of the extra screen area for production work!

I remember when the TV companies moved us from 5×4 to 4:3 to 16:10 to 16:9 to 21:9 to 32:9, soon you'll be squinting at your 7in tall "27in superultrawide" screen watching this podcast with 50% of your screen just black bars.
Gimme 5120×5120 for the most screen area (but I'll settle for 5120×4096).

  2. 33:20 face-palm moment, when Qualcomm pulls even further ahead. " unpatchable security flaw in Apple Silicon Macs, affecting the M1, M2, and M3 chips" "due to the flaw’s architectural nature, it cannot be directly patched by Apple. Instead, third-party cryptographic software may mitigate it, but at the cost of performance degradation during cryptographic operations"
