This was an extremely painful video to make π Do you guys have any repair horror stories?
For my video on why the internet is starting to break: https://youtu.be/wVYG1mu8Lg8
That's totally "Eco-friendly"
Please give me 1 of the iphones .
Android?
Please do the same video with a Samsung Galaxy S phone!
Did we just got low key rickrolled?
do a samsung repair video
The guy in Icrack looks like yoooouuuu
Yup.
can i get one that is broken cause in romania is very expensive??
I paid Google 280β¬ for a screen, frame, and back glass replacement on my Pixel 8 Pro
Tbh.. this is a case of building a hospital infront of a mining industry..
I'll blow your mind: all phones are glued, out of the factory (and still waterproof). Some repair shops (incl. Apple) do it seamlessly, some do it messy.
send it to phonerepairguru
U should do this video again whith Samsung phones
I have a question for all of people doing comment
How was your day π
Sadly you didn't test the Apple self repair program.
bro forgot to haggle
Just don't buy overpriced Apple-junk. π€¦ββοΈ
There's nothing bodged about a chip swap for the ID if it's put on a 2nd hand apple part, which there are heaps of because iPhones are fragile and heaps get thrown, and there is a big black-market in stolen iPhones.
Take it to a high level repairer like STS Telecom and all those 3rd party problems are fixed.
DON'T BUY APPLE poducts! It's as simple as that.
Please do same video for Samsung, youβll see how sometimes Apple controlling everything is very important.
why did it have to be the iphone 15 man… so much money i could do so much…
Thats exactly why i buy cheap phones (like Xiaomi). When they break, it doesnt hurt as much
Apple serialize parts to prevent you to repair. Apple is anti Right to repair. It's all about the money they don't care for your security they give your data anyway.
There's a simple solution to all of this: DON'T damage your phone. I've owned and used dozens of smartphones, none of them ever attracted a scratch, much less a crack. People who treat their phones like shit are MORONS!!!
That's why I hate these places. They just can't be trusted. Many of them will tell you they are using OEM parts, charge you the cost of the OEM part and then use a knock-off part to make more profit. Then you have places that if they make a mistake and break something else in the process will charge you for the additional repair for the thing that THEY broke. It's all a scam.
This is why I just buy a new phone when my battery wears out.
The problem is not if you can afford it, the real problem is most of the people don't know or don't care about "the Right To Repair" and accept any draconian Closed Garden policy to feel fashion.
The video could be so different if Apple open the market of repairing parts… Probably no problems at all aside the usual statistical rates
I replaced my iPhone 5 screen for $30. Let me repeat. $30. That price included SHIPPING form NYC and we did it in 2018! I did the replacement myself, it took about 20 minutes, with the suction cups to get the screen out (once the screen is wrecked you can "have your way" with it when removing it). Now apple seems to have 16x'd that price. Way to go Apple! A $40 screen and you charge $400 for the repair!!! nice one apple!!! Tim Cook is smoking $100 bills and laughing all the way to the bank …
You know who doesnt have so many rules and tracking system like apple, and you get a good phone. Samsung.
Samsung version part 2?
The biggest downside of the cheapest option is muuuuch faster battery drain because those cheap screens consume more power than the originals.
Basically an Apple marketer.
What kind of Smartwatch are you useing?
The official route used to be a replacement handset, thatβs why they asked you to wipe it, they hoped that you wouldnβt realise the handset had changed
It's actually worse when you're in a third world country where the phone itself costs an arm and leg now imagine breaking the phone screenπ’
Next time send someone who isn't known, the chance of getting recognised as a large techtuber is not good in the slightest when it comes to tests like this.
There's a reason LTT, Gamers Nexus, Jayz and so many others send in 'unknown' employees to do this stuff.
