That's some really important advice! Not only for Pixel phones, and not restricted to phones, not even tech, but reviews in general. It has become really tough to find honest reviews. Luckily most of the sponsored praising is still easy to spot most of the time.
The pixel AI was incredible and i miss it but man did the pixel 8 suck i got screen freezing often, the map was horribly inaccurate for some reason, and it got hot quick.
The pixel ai on photos was amazing too but everything hardware wise was noticable. If google stepped up hardware and kept the AI youd have a top tier phone id go back to

I already ordered mine I opted to do the monthly payments for whatever reason they decided to just charge me the full amount so I immediately requested for a refund and to have the item canceled and not shipped this was 3 hours after being ordered of course they were unable to cancel and we're unable to reverse the payment🎉 yay Google thanks!

S24 lineup had better specs that pixel 9 with 7 years of os updates (android 14 on s24’s , android 14 in pixel 9’s)and that was last year.This year their price dropped a lot.I don’t see why people buy this crappy pixel.
Honestly, would like to see no reviewers get it early and let people make up there own minds about it without all the crap you see on here from commenters who never used the phone claiming they have issues cause they saw it on yt.

Why are people making such a big deal out of this? Literally making up drama for no reason. Team Pixel is obviously some sort of brand ambassador program, not a reviewer program. It would be flat out stupid for a brand ambassador to be using some other brand or talk negatively about the brand they ambassadors for….
If pixel is a third-party entity, how is this Google fault? Marcus clearly stated that he received a phone or phones and products from Google and Google did not require any conditions…. Just an honest review. I think Google is wise to simply unaffiliated itself from team pixel altogether but again I don’t think Google is involved in team pixels terms regarding showing competitive devices are speaking negatively about pixel products. I think this was all team pixel and they made a drastic mistake.
Also, don’t say “C’mon” Implying the assumption that Google knew about this all along. This stuff happens all the time and pixel is a separate entity and there’s no way Google would’ve ever approved this especially considering all the hot water that they are in right now.
Also, if they approved this new verbiage, why wouldn’t they implement it with their own Google reviewers? Why wouldn’t it be across-the-board?
This is team pixels, major screw up and screwed up by not catching it, which I think was deception on the part of team pixel.
Again, there is no way a tech company as big old as Google was self sabotage their own products by approving such ridiculous terms
They got caught with their pants down. Question is, are any of those reviewers willing to drag them to court for that, or atleast create a petition, so with enough people on board they can be dragged to court.
Honestly i dont understand why companies are not forthcoming about paid reviews, yes they loose some credibility, but like social media, with enough people singing the same tune, it becomes the narrative, and its paid for, i see no harm, atleast it's honest in its approach. 😂

Some of y'all just butthurt that the big tech YouTubers prefer iPhone. This doesn't automatically make their Android reviews bs. I've watched a lot of their Android reviews and a lot of if not most of their criticisms about Android phones like the Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy and Sony Xperia are actually valid. And this is coming from someone who's exclusively used Android phones for well over a decade now.
lol all of these reviewers are iSheep who are too scared to call out Apple because of the fanboys who watch them they were critical of LG for being innovative while they were glazing Apple despite the iPhone being objectively the worst "smart"phone in it's price range and even lower ranges. "average consumer" this "average consumer" that they don't know what they are talking about they just excuse mediocrity with how their grandma uses phones.
