  1. with CIB I recommend that you take the cart out of the box and put the cart on the shelf instead of opening it up and closing it just have to seperate shelves, one for the boxes and one for the carts that came out of the boxes

  2. The Brawler 64 by Retro Fighters is an excellent N64 controller that feels like modern controllers. It also has the slot for rumble pack and memory cards!

  3. I always say leave the OG controllers for collection's sake, and just use a modern controller like the brawler64 for actually raggin out because they're just so much better for the average gamer.

  4. Repro carts aren’t even a good option for people who just want to play the games. If you don’t care about collecting and just want to play, you should just buy a flash cart. With repros, you’re paying $20 for a single game. With a flash cart, you’re paying $60 (for a knockoff) or $200 (for an authentic EverDrive) for every single game ever released for the consoles, plus the ability to play rom hacks.

  5. I love how you mention reproduction carts and don’t consider it a big issue.

I’m not spending hundreds of dollars on a used game from 25+ years ago. No way. I’ll gladly take a reasonably priced functioning and decent looking repro any day of the week.

  6. N64 was such a hard console to own back when it was considered a baby gaming system. 😅 I always defended the 1st party games. I tried keeping the boxes safe but having little brothers made that near impossible. I wish Nintendo had better cases back then…
