いくつか同じ質問があるのでここで回答します。
ディスクドライブ付きのPS5を改造に使用した理由は、過去にジャンクのものを定価の半額で手に入れたからです。
本来であればデジタルエディションを使うべきですが、極力コストを削減するためにこれを修理して利用しています。
I will answer some identical questions here. The reason for using a PS5 with a disc drive is that I was able to obtain a junk one in the past for half the retail price. Ideally, I should use the Digital Edition, but I am repairing and using this one to minimize costs as much as possible.

why you didn't bought ps5 digital edition.?? That would be a lot cheaper
It's kinda wasteful to use the Disc-based version of the PS5 and remove the disc drive, so you might wanna use the Disc-less version instead. (PS5 のディスクベース バージョンを使用してディスク ドライブを取り外すのは少し無駄なので、代わりにディスクレス バージョンを使用することをお勧めします。)

バリ取り、ペーパーのかけ方（硬くて平らなものを背中に当てる）など、物凄い丁寧ですね！
塗装後の筐体のツヤも、3Dプリンターの素材（質感）を感じなくて感動しました。
