So my customer messaged me saying that they needed an ps5 hdmi port replacing. Just your usual port replacement I think……
It turns out the cable got stuck in the port, so they tried to pull it out using pliers, it didn’t end well…….

Seriously impressed that only one pad tore off. From the outside I was expecting that maybe half a trace would be left on the pcb
How do you prevent strain in future on a port this badly danaged as alot of the hard plastic around the area is gone?
y? soo many video repair of ps5 is about HDMI port problem, ps5 is not protable system whey need to plug and unplug the HDMI cable?

i still have my xbox 360 slim that got moved around back and forth from my house to my friends almost daily for years and the hdmi port is still perfect, not even loose. How does this happen????
Had more HDMI devices than most. Never damaged a single port or cable. How people do even simple damage is beyond me. This is atrocious.
