Just load SteamOS onto your handheld. Windows takes up too many resources for stuff you'll never use. SteamOS just works so much better and is easier to navigate. I've noticed a huge performance difference after loading it onto my ROG Ally.
Hopefully they will just further develop this and actually make Xbox Dashboard shell for Windows, basically like porting it. Currently Steam Big Picture really works well and exist for probably more than a decade now. It's time for Microsoft to do this with emergence of gaming PC handhelds.
Please turn Xbox Game bar to actually become Windows Game Center of some sort.
Hope this doesn't get abandoned like other Microsoft projects aka Xbox
The elephant in the room is that Microsoft will always have unnecessary startup services because they are sending your data to their servers
The game bar never worked well for me, neither on my old system with Windows 10 nor on the new one with Windows 11 installed.

We want game mode like on steamOS
I have a Steamdeck so this doesn't do much for me right now, I'm holding out to see what a Microsoft handheld could be in the future. So hopefully they iron this out and it is flawless when that becomes a reality.
