  1. Thanks for sharing the video Zach. Enjoy watching them. Nice job on the feed boxes. Good looking feed. Enjoyed watching you tear down the saw. I'm a Stihl man but I like Husqvarna too. She's going to be a strong runner when you get it back together. Take care.

  2. When thieves stole a bunch of stuff at my place, they set a hog feeding station I was building on the ground and stole the saw horses it was setting on. They also stole thousands of dollars worth of other stuff. Really wish they could find them.
I usually use square drive screws myself. I've never stripped one of them that I can remember of.

  3. I too am a do it yourself when you can kinda guy
I enjoy the variety of stuff you have
I do love Jesus and it makes me happy that you share him on your channel
    Keep up the videos

  4. Just wanted to let you know that I very much appreciate the videos and enjoy the mule's. All so Just wanted to ask where you buy your feed from. I all so enjoyed seeing you work on the saw I like all my old stihl chain saws. Thanks again for the videos.

  5. Nice video Zach, I have had a variety of Sthil chainsaws in my 38 yrs of logging. They include the following Sthil's, 1 x084, 4 x090, 1 x 460, 5 x 660, 3 x 880, and now I am 54 yrs old and using a 881 Sthil but I also owned and used 3 x 3120 Husqvarna's. The best chainsaw model out of the Sthil range in my opinion was the 880, had the best oiler, it did last for a long time and was nice to use. The first chainsaw I owned was the 084 but it had some issues, so I switched to the 090's, they were good but really heavy for the 132 CC and vibration was bad so then I purchased 3120 Husqvarna's, they were good though their engines did not last as well as the Sthil's so I went back to Sthil and used 660's, they were also good but didn't quite have enough HP for me and the oilers gave trouble, so that's when I went to the 880's and I feel like for me they are my perfect chainsaw. Keep up the good work and God Bless!

  6. I agree. I like those older saws that you can work on too. I really like the 390 husky but am not brand loyal. If it runs, i like it. Lol. Happy Sunday! Praying for you also.

  7. You are one brave man, taking your saw apart in your house, I tried it once and only once and I was less than politely told what was going to happen. I've never taken a saw apart like you did, I break them in two to measure the bearings on the crank, being a diesel marine mechanic and machinist I can't resist measuring, very informative there's always more than one way to do things, thanks for sharing and as always very educational.

  8. You seem to be very generous with the grain for your mules, but then mules are smart and do not overeat, at least that's my understanding. Horses unfortunately overeat with grain, if they have an opportunity. Twelve years ago I lost a Belgian this way, who opened a screw-top barrel after he managed to open the door to the feed storage room. He gorged himself on cracked corn and despite veterinary efforts died of a colic two days later. Ever since that time I am extra careful securing the feed and do not feed corn at all anymore, only oats for grain.

  9. Good job Zach! You are the man I like to watch. You are a man hung in the middle between the old and the new. I certainly respect you for that. You may not the hottest ticket o. Porting saws but you have a broad range of knowledge for your chosen direction. You keep putting these videos out and I will keep watching.

  10. My Dad always said you don't want to do a perfect job because people will think you hired a professional to do it! And always said , if they're looking at it that close, they better be buying it! I was into about anything! I ended up being a meat cutter, cut a lot of deer up on the kitchen table! I'v fixed a lot of stuff on the kitchen table! When people ask what I do, I say , I'm being like Jesus, I feed the multitude! Love to hear you talk about religion! couldn't you Heily coil the plug hole!

  11. The first chainsaw i helped use was an old David Bradly 2 man saw
the blade flipped for cutting vertical or cutting horizontal , dang thing
weighed about 60 lbs. and worked you to death, the motor end had
handle bars like a bike, those were the days of the first chainsaws.
    Dave

  12. I think you’re safe and gettin the jobs done perfect as far as I can see. I love those mules, they seem to be real calm compared to horses. Not to mention being very curious. Lol

  13. I like this video Mr. Odom. It’s good to see exactly what you have to do to keep up with tasks that have to be done on certain times, rain or shine. Those gals Kate and Alice are getting fed a good quality feed.
