  1. I have a massive lawn. I want to redo the entire lawn; however, I noticed there is green netting in the ground from the previous owner laying down sod. The ground is extremely uneven in most part.

How do you remove that netting underneath from the sod? It seems like if I were to use a rototiller to dig up the ground it would get tangled in the rotor blades. Can you help a brother out?

  2. So my grass was brand new in 2018 and I deployed and came back to weeds and long grass and I took a long time removing each weed by hand and the grass was good but fast forward to now I have bald spots everywhere and I don’t have sprinklers but I’m thinking that since my grass sucks it’s the best time to get sprinklers since they will be digging it up.

  3. Hello, I need an advice🙏… I put the treatment that you recommended from another video for crabgrass… then after that I’m planning to do this for next step clean and put soil with seeds but I’m in North Carolina but right now the weather here is 90-99 F. Do you think it’s okay to continue with my plans now in summer or I have to wait until march?☹️😣. Thanks!

  4. I stretched from scratch and I put seed down in mid April with peat moss grass is about 2.5 inches long but grass is still pretty bare in between each piece of grass and some bare spots can I put more seed and peat moss down now?

  5. Thanks for the video you should rename it The Long Story About My Lawn. Never showed how to plant seed and repair the lawn. You titled it repair dead patches of grass fast.

  6. Love to have someone in my own state doing videos. How do you care for pee from your dog. I have tried reseeding and I am still having problems.
I am also having trouble in my front yard, with reseeding both fall and spring, and I can not get the seed to grow. HELP! I live in Sandy. Thanks for the very informative videos. 🎉

  7. Thanks for the great video. I tried going thru the comments to find an answer to this question… I noticed you have a dog, and also noticed that you don't have and urine spots on your lawn. Whats the secret?

  8. Living in Utah 5 miles below Alta, so we're still getting lots of snow. What is the best grass seed to buy? I want to order the Branenbrug Yellowjacket blend, but I keep hearing Kentucky Bluegrass isn't the best for Utah climates. Which grass seed would you suggest for the crazy climate here? Thank you for your videos, they're entertaining and helpful. 😀

  9. I used turfmend and was very disappointed in it. I bought a big bag of the correct grass for my area. None of it germinated. Kept it moist, etc. Bought same type of grass seed from my local hardware store and top soil, did the same thing with keeping it moist and it worked great. Point is don’t waste your money on Turfmend, for me it didn’t work at all.

  10. Those spots are not dead. Snow mold affects leaf tissue, but leaves most of the crowns and roots untouched. In the case of KBG, it will fully recover in few weeks. Raking is a good start. Throwing some Ammonium Sulfate will further nourish at low temps.

  11. Was this done in the fall or are you already have trees green in UT? I'm in MO and we are still getting some cold spells and trees are just now flowering..

  12. Hey man, fellow Utahn here in Saratoga Springs, I have a bunch of dead patches in the back im going to fix but i have a question about seeding: is it ok to seed and put a pre emergent at the same time or should i just seed and worry about weeds next season? Thanks for the tips man, you have been helping me alot with my lawn care! Cheers!

  13. I think you should try more shade tolerant grass species in your back yard. KBG has a lot of troubles in the shaded areas, especially if you give it enough traffic. I had the same case with shaded areas and I found the best solution Supina Bluegrass (Poa Supina). Extremely shade tolerant grass, and I don’t have to overseed anymore because it spreads really fast through stolons
