This is what I do, am not a ' stucco guy' I have to do small jobs like this for the families I maintain properties for.
    Thank You Professor !!
LOVE that ' double prime '
On new drywall and plaster I double prime ,, Always.
I swear you can tell drywall that has that double prime on it,
don't care what the painters say, it's like Kirk showed,
it all comes out , long after the painter is gone ,,,

  3. Oh my God! Your Finally back!!
So many great things from this Video. First off the explanation of unused muscles resonated with me big time. So true. Hulk/Popeye arms!! Only plasters relate🤙🏻. I loved the hell out of you saying "Not!" Dude, I have not heard that since the 90's!!
I'm personally glad you explained the "activate Blood hound stucco sense" and found where the concrete met the transition. Bonding agent..yada yada.
Kirk, I'm just glad to see Dan with you, he's come a long way.
    You guys are waaaay underrated…..Not!❤️

  4. I’m so confused…. In the last video I watched of yours, you were married to a blonde woman and looked really happy together. Either way, it’s always great seeing you with your family in these videos. Also, you inspired me to take on a stucco project of my own and it came out great. Thanks for all you do.

  5. You used a chemical bonding agent instead of a mechanical bond this time. Both are strong attachments. Could you point out the reasons why you sealed it on this job? Thanks Kirk.

  6. Another banger😁 Keep it up fellas, thank you and your family for putting this content out. It is the kind of stuff I miss from older This Old House episodes. Youre the norm abrams of stucco😃.

Is it the shifting of the house and sudden temperature changes that wreak the most havok on stucco? Or is the initial application of the stucco the biggest deciding factor on the durability? Thanks!
