Started sharing your videos with my Dad and he likes what your doing. Your video on the tree you cut down reminded him of his youth as he’d cut down trees in his back yard to help train for football. He grew up in Grand island,Buffalo, New York. Don’t worry he assured me that the wood was put to use as fire wood when his home’s fireplace was still used
If you drilled two holes through the board, across the grain, about a quarter to a third of the way in from the ends, and put a long bolt through it with nuts and washers on either side, the compression from the bolts might help keep the grain from splitting as it did
