    I also just read Superfish, the at lead me to something Sony did back in 2005.

    Dubbed Sony BGM rootkit scandal, where Sony pretty much installed a DRM into the OS (when their CD's were inserted it installed two programs) to interfere with copying and could even phone-home the users private listening habits and made it extremely hard to uninstall.

    Insanity.
