I picked up a CZUR ET18 Pro refurbished off eBay and am very happy with it. It does OCR so you can search and cut and paste from the PDF. I have an old LiDE scanner, still around somewhere I stopped using it because my model was stuck on XP drivers, there was some kind 3rd party paid app that would let you use it on newer OS's
Great Video. It's nice to have different scanning methods as a simple comparison. Very helpful in choosing.
Love learning about older things like this, keep up the good work Aaron! and i know it wasnt discussed but I hope your A1C 🩸 is doing ok ^_^.
Bought my first computer (Amstrad PPC640) from the back of ComputerShopper! I remember the big Gateway spreads with themes.
This CZUR gadget looks impressive. Thanks for covering it for us, and thanks to CZUR for sending it to you. Scanning a 530+ page document is WORK! and that's no matter how good the equipment is. This sure made it look a lot easier.
Great video. I've seen other videos on similar products (I don't remember if they were CZUR) but yours is probably the best. At $441.32 (after 15% discount), I am very tempted. But do I really need it? The Canon LiDE is cheap enough to just go for it, though there are a lot of different models besides the 30 and it's causing some indecision on my part.
you know you made it when you do your CZUR episode. ive watch this commercial about 6 times already
Czur scanners destroy shading. It looks like they did it on the Lyco ads on the illustrations. The cotts could easily be fixed if it just allowed you to combine two scans with fingers in different positions.
They haven't fixed these things for years.
I worked at CompUSA, RadioShack, and Tandy! 😱😁🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
