My sd keeps bricking my microsd and it runs on linux. Pls help
It isn't showing in disk management either but I get sound when I plug it in and it says USB Sd card connected in the task bar
Any help with this? I didn't format it in steam before changing to windows on the deck
Now im confused. I formatted the card in Steamdeck gamemode. Then i download emudeck to it. in Steamdeck it shows the emudeck libraries. But when i connect the sd card to my windows i dont see there anything and i cannot do nothing in disk management to it

Every time I go to create and format it’ll stop letting me move the mouse. My is allocated but it won’t let me move the mouse after I open it up.

Hi, my SD card has been working fine for a couple of months using Windows 11 but today suddenly it's not appearing anymore. It's also not visible in the create a partition window 😢
gave a sub . u helped me out so much . had steam deck for 4 hours and linux is already stressing me out so doing some research on windows 10 for steam deck and u have been a big help. only thing i cant find out which u could make a video on perhaps is bettery life comparison on steam deck with steam os vs windows. ty so much <3
No need for so drastic measure.. just power down your Deck and take the SD card fully out..
Put the SD card back in, and power the Deck on, and the SD card should be back.. So no need for formatting, and losing all your contents

I can't change or add a drive letter, it's grayed out and there's some crap about "the view is outdated" or something.

It can‘t be found that easy because the card has a Linux filesysten after preparing the care for the use in the Steam deck!

My card is recognized, formated, clean and healthy but steam app itself doesn't recognize it and it doesn't offer an option to add it as storage

Hey man don’t know if you know how to solve this been asking a lot of people and no one seems to know I dual booted the steam deck with windows 10 but when everything was done correctly my windows is showing as not active and also my epic games won’t start jus say running and back to launch
Will specifying a new simple volume on an SD card delete the files that are already there?
