I've never seen our Model Y AWD charge at 80 kW at anywhere close to 75%. Is that an MIC / LiFePo thing?

How much of the charge curve is heat related? Has anyone tried oversizing the cooling to keep up with the heat?

The Bmw iX1 is not the slowest, but when you charge the car, you have to switch on the battery heating properly and give the battery time to warm up. Otherwise it charges like this. Normally the iX1 charges between 10 and 80 per cent from 26 minutes in optimum temperatures to 29 minutes in freezing temperatures.

Weirdly MY hit 50,9 kWh @ 90 % while iX1 had charged only 50,8 kWh at the same charge level even though it had 8 kWh bigger battery 🧐
Would be nice to include eNiro 65 or Kona 65 to see the humiliation…
4:40 A bit strange how #1 could fit more kWh than the larger iX1 battery.
These charging time differences are insignifiant for the average user experience.
Mg4 charging is so impressive considering the price of it. Consistently fast
The Model Y won and it's ok to compare it kWh size wise. Just keep in mind the Y is way bigger, it seams you cannot put around 60 kWh as LFP in a car with 4,20 – 4,40 meter length, also it would be probably too heavy for the size.
I really like these comparisons. I guess the model Y has the BYD blade pack, nice:)
